Steel Storage Buildings, Sized to What You Actually Own

When the garage is full and the rental unit bill keeps climbing, a Triton steel storage building pays for itself in a season or two. Wide-open interiors, tall sidewalls, and pre-framed roll-up doors give you a secure, dry, organized space for vehicles, tools, business inventory, or seasonal gear — without the limits of a wood-framed shed.

Storage that scales with your life

We design every storage building around what's going inside. A retiree storing a boat and a tractor needs a very different layout than a contractor staging materials for the next job. Tell us what you're storing today and what you might add in five years — we'll right-size the footprint and the door package up front so you don't outgrow it on day one.

  • Drive-through baysdoors at both ends so you never have to back out a trailer
  • Mezzanine-ready columnsfor parts, paperwork, or seasonal storage upstairs
  • Separate walk-in entrieskeep tools secure even when the big door is open
  • Vented or insulated roofcontrol condensation on cold steel

Built for the long haul

Galvanized rigid-frame columns, 26-gauge Galvalume® roof and wall panels, and pre-engineered bracing mean your storage building will outlast the equipment in it. Snow, wind, and seismic loads are calculated specifically for your county at design time — not generic catalog numbers.

And because every panel is factory-cut and labeled before it ships, your foundation crew can pour to spec and our erectors can finish a turnkey shell in days, not months.

Storage vs. self-storage: the math

A 10' × 20' rental unit runs $200–$400 per month in most markets — call it $3,600 a year. A modest 20' × 30' Triton storage building, financed over five years, often comes in close to or below that monthly number — and at the end of the term, you own the building outright and free up a six-figure piece of real estate of your own.

FAQs

Common Questions About Storage Buildings

What's the smallest storage building you build?

We typically start at 20' × 20'. Smaller than that and a portable shed usually makes more sense; bigger than that and steel is the better long-term value.

Can I park an RV or boat inside?

Absolutely — we'll spec the door height and width for your tallest, longest unit, plus a couple feet of clearance. 14' tall doors are common for Class A coaches.

Is the building weather-tight enough for tools and electronics?

Yes — every building ships with closure strips, foam tape, and trim packages that seal the eaves and base. With proper insulation and ventilation, humidity stays low enough for stored equipment.

Can I add electrical and lighting later?

Yes — we pre-frame any electrical openings you want at design time, and the wide-open interior makes it easy for an electrician to run conduit at any point.

Do you offer financing or rent-to-own?

Yes — Triton offers both rent-to-own and traditional financing on storage buildings. See our /financing/ and /rent-to-own/ pages for current programs.
