Pre-Engineered Steel Warehouses

Triton's pre-engineered steel warehouses give growing operations a fast, code-compliant building at a predictable cost — without the schedule and budget risk of conventional construction. We engineer to your exact rack height, dock count, and clear-span requirements, then deliver a turnkey shell ready for your interior fit-out crew.

Designed around your operations — not a catalog

Rack height drives clear height. Truck count drives dock count. Pick path drives column placement. We start every warehouse design with an operations conversation: what's the throughput, what's the SKU profile, and what's the 5-year growth plan? The building follows.

  • Clear heights 16' – 32'+spec'd to selective, double-deep, or push-back racking
  • Dock-high doorswith seal/shelter packages and dock plates
  • Drive-in/grade-level doorsfor forklift cross-dock or yard equipment
  • Office mezzaninestructural mezzanine sized to your team

Pre-engineered means predictable

The frame, roof, and wall package is detailed and priced before steel is rolled, so you know your building cost at signing. Site work, dock equipment, fire suppression, and interior fit-out are separate trades — but we coordinate the shell drawings with their engineers so penetrations, knockouts, and load points are right the first time.

Tilt-up, masonry, or steel? The trade-off.

Tilt-up concrete is hard to beat above 50,000 sq ft and where the local market has experienced crews. Pre-engineered steel is faster, more flexible on irregular sites, and easier to expand later — and at most footprints under 50,000 sq ft, comparable or lower in total project cost. We're happy to walk you through the trade-offs honestly.

FAQs

Common Questions About Warehouses

What's the largest steel warehouse you can build?

We've quoted 200,000+ sq ft warehouses. Above 50,000 sq ft, design and engineering complexity goes up but the cost-per-sq-ft generally stays competitive with tilt-up.

Can you do refrigerated/cold storage?

We provide the shell. Cold-storage interior insulation and refrigeration are specialty trades we can connect you with.

Does the warehouse meet ESFR fire suppression requirements?

Yes — we coordinate the roof structure and clearance to host ESFR sprinkler systems sized by your fire protection engineer.

Can I expand the warehouse later?

Yes — design the end-wall as a non-load-bearing 'expansion wall' at first build, and your future build-out simply removes that wall and ties the new bays to the existing frame.

What's a realistic schedule?

From signed contract to a sealed shell, 16 – 28 weeks for most warehouse builds. Site work and permitting are the variables.
